Cristina has dreamed about being a pin-up girl for as long as she can remember.

When I arrived at her Land O’ Lakes home for her boudoir photo session, she had four girlfriends buzzing around her, fixing last-minute hair and makeup. All were drinking wine and giggling and I thought…this is going to be one for the record books!

Cristina has a natural sexuality and energy about her that makes it hard not to smile when you’re in the same room. She’s a natural with the camera, even when she thinks she might be pushing her own boundaries.

Her theme was obviously “pin-up girl” but she also incorporated a Cubs jersey (her husband’s favorite team), an apron with a martini and kitchen accessories, Christmas décor, and lots of sexy lingerie and jewelry. This is one client that did not need my help in the least when it came to planning out her boudoir photo session.

I thought at first it might be distracting to have an “audience” while shooting her photos but it actually worked out great. The girlfriends were not only refilling her wine glass but had amazing ideas that added a little extra to each set of photos I shot.

I don’t think the 50’s pin-up girls had an idea the kind of influence they would have over future generations.

My husband was blown away, and was super excited about the baseball pin-ups. I mean, what guy wouldn't love his girl in his favorite team gear? The photos are up in his sports room right next to his Wrigley Field sign. I have the more intimate boudoir photos in a scrapbook. What a blast! I would recommend every woman to take the plunge and do something daring. Jessica is great at capturing your inner beauty on the outside. You won't be disappointed!”
